Michelle Produces a Baby Boy

Michelle went in Monday for a doctor visit and ending up going to the hospital. They decided that they would induce her because of all the fluid she had. At first we thought they had named him Grant, but now we're not sure. He was 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20 inches long. Karina got to go and assist. Nick was there of course and his Mom, who is a NICU nurse was there also. The Baby was born just 6 hours after they gave her pitosin. So this was a fast one! He is a little darling and so good natured. Michelle had the baby completely natural....not even any pain meds. Fantastic Michelle! Here's some pictures of the event.

Easter

We had a nice quiet and fun Easter. Michelle, Nick and Landon came over at 1:00 and had lunch and we watched The Testament and then they had to go over the Nick's parents home. Norman and I read and talked on the phone to family. Here's some photos!

Valentines Day

Norman was really nice and bought me flowers and dark chocolate candy (it's on our diet) and I bought him dark chocolate candy. We went out to eat at Ivar's Restaurant and had Halibut with pumpkin seed crust, green beans and potatoes. It was perfect!

Goodbye January!

Hi Everyone! Well, January is gone and I have to say I'm glad...hopefully we will have better weather in February! Norman and I have gone on a diet....The Flat Belly Diet! So far it's been good....in one week Norman and I lost 10 lbs each. Actually he's lost more but hasn't weighed in. It's probably water weight, but hopefully it will keep coming off.
